Position Overview:

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources. This position is responsible for the Learning and Development needs of PHI Health.

Job Summary:

  • Responsible for coordinating the New Hire Academy, manage agenda, communication to employees, presenters, etc.
  • Builds process and provides training in conducting Stay Interviews.
  • Manages compliance with all regulatory employee training, preventing sexual harassment, etc.
  • Responsible for the Annual Performance Management Process. Update evaluations, provide training. 
  • Conducts review of all our Rewards and Recognition Programs and recommends a consistent and standard process to utilize organization wide.
  • Updates and keeps completion compliance of the New Supervisor (Leader) Training Agenda, works with presenters to update content as applicable.
  • Responsible for the ongoing Leadership Development training and process, renewals and training coordination.
  • Coordinates and plans the Annual Supervisor (Leader) Training. Works with Directors to ensure Supervisors are signed up, evaluates content to avoid duplication and ensures a positive learning experience.
  • Collaborates with Leadership to develop their team members through Career Progression for Succession Planning.
  • Designs user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Ensures the learning tools are available, partners with our Information Technology (IT) department.
  • Travel as necessary to meet the business needs.

Qualification Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in business management or related field required, or equivalent 10-15 years combined experience in human resources and learning and development. 
  • 5+ years of experience working as a L&D Manager, Training Manager or other relevant position.
  • Significant experience with effective learning and development methods.
  • Good knowledge of e-learning platforms and practices.
  • Practical experience with MS Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with a good ability to build relations with employees and vendors.
  • Strong organizational skills with business-oriented thinking.
  • Healthcare or Aviation compensation experience preferred.
  • Professional in matters of high confidentiality.  
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft office products, advanced level in Excel proficiency.
