JOB SUMMARY

  • Responsible for the strategic and tactical design of supply chain networks including transportation optimization routing, inventory placement, network foot print and location design.
  • Develops Supply Chain Management (SCM) plans and strategies to arrive at optimal solutions.
  • Develops materials management estimates and schedules for new business proposals.
  • Identifies, analyzes, develops and implements best practices, processes and procedures for SCM. Recommends changes to new or existing corporate and divisional policies.
  • Presents analysis of performance measurements to senior managers.
  • Investigates complex ordering conditions. Develops and implements new ordering methodologies.
  • Leads teams and is responsible for overseeing, documenting, implementing and maintaining the improvements they contribute.
  • Co-develops project solution set including modeling approaches, scope, design, timing and final total cost validation.
  • Conducts overall data analysis, validation and manipulation of customer's data, which can be in many differing stages and levels of detail.
  • Completes documentation of all assumptions and modeling parameters in preparation of project presentation of results.
  • Prepares models of current network and performs what if scenario simulations and optimization efforts based on customer needs, volume, and/or warehouse volume adjustments.
  • Develops Standard Operating Procedures and the necessary training materials for base operations and front line management.
  • Manages facility area layout to identify opportunities for increased space utilization
  • Analyzes and collects data to evaluate processes for waste or non-value added activities and develops a plan for solution to minimize or eliminate them.
  • Designs, develops  and implements performance-reporting systems for the purpose of measuring individual, department, facility and supply chain productivity
  • Perform ROI analysis for Supply Chain safety, quality, capital improvement and  productivity improvement projects.
  • Drives high impact architectural decisions including inception, design, and delivery.
  • Motivates and influences teams to buy into vision and roadmap, pushing individuals outside of their comfort zones where necessary.
  • Creates proposals and action plans to garner support across the organization.
  • Drives implementation and provide visibility to progress through short feedback loops and data-driven action.
  • Responsible for the monthly process for preparing, analyzing, and delivering the Supply Chain metrics and data.
  • Works within the Supply Chain Functions to gather input and deliver respective reporting packages to track productivity within the department.
  • Coordinates information with Sourcing & Procurement, Inventory Management, and Logistics
  • Works with the Supply Chain leadership to continuously improve the process, ensure relevance to each BU, and drive value through insights and outputs from the routine
  • Individually contributes to improve process development, bringing your best thinking to life as we develop the routine
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in new technologies, promote benefits and share knowledge with users
  • Analyze inventory data, interprets it for trends, and prepares reports for management.
  • Manage efficiency improvement projects in planning, budgets, and ROI's.
  • Analyze purchasing methods and processes to uncover problems and inefficiencies.
  • Review project plans to determine the time frame, resources, and procedures needed for accomplishing the project. Communicate impact of current projects to management and applicable departments

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar.
  • 3 – 5 years of experience in performing supply chain planning and design along with analytical support for inventory management, transportation sourcing, planning and forecasting
  • Experience in the performance of analytical support for transportation and supply chain operations
  • Advanced data manipulation skills with experience in SQL, Tableau, MS Excel and Access
  • Must be able to pass a pre-placement drug test and background screen
  • This position is designated Safety Sensitive for purposes of the Arizona Medical Marijuana Act.
